If you are ever in Athens, I highly recommend visiting Monastiraki. It’s a beautiful area to shop, eat and see ruins- all with a view of the Acropolis. Even the ground is amusing, which is paved with colored tiles. Not only are there countless stores to shop at, but also a flea market where you can buy just about anything.
Taking into account the heat and endless walking that I was going to face throughout the day, I kept my outfit light and simple.
