With countless days left to fill over the summer before we head back to school, my friends and I decided to drive an hour away to spend a day in the Hamptons. I don’t visit as much as I should, considering I live on Long Island, which is why when I go I love to wear a cute outfit!
Keeping in mind that this was a casual day trip, I kept my outfit simple and dressed it up with accessories.
- On top, I wore a white cropped tank top from Top Shop.

As per usual, my friends and I jumped at the opportunity to take pictures in our outfits. We couldn’t resist when we found this beautiful wall of roses.
And need I state the obvious? Yes. It matched my outfit perfectly. Not only did this background match the roses on my shorts, but it also accentuated the color of my purse.
A day trip to the Hamptons full of shopping and smoothies proved to be a perfect way to pass time with friends in the summer.
